I looked forward to to reading this one, mostly because it seemed like a treasure in the shelf. Also because I for some reason has been actively looking for more books about vampires. I bought this book at a speciality store not too far from where I live. Anyways...
Once Bitten Twice Shy is a book about the person most often called Jaz throughout the book. Jaz is an assassin hired by the CIA, her boss Vayl, who also happens to be a vampire at the ripe age of 291 is CIAs top assassin. In this instance we follow the pair as they try to ascertain the truth about their mission. Vayl had a bad feeling about it when it was given. They soon discover what his bad vibes are on about, and so starts their struggles to once again restore what once was. While at work Jasmine discovers another possible partner in their efforts and saves the man from a possibly horrible fate. Now, as I don't want to spoil the entire book, I shall stop here, and rather have you buy a copy. If you've got eight bucks and like short fantasy books then this should be a buy.
